Dry, mixed, greasy... And you, what type of skin have you got?
How often have you heard of dry, mixed, greasy skin... and you without knowing what this is all about? Here are some clues to find out what type of skin you have and what it needs:
- Dry: flakes off easily and often has cracks. As it has less grease, it retains less water and is more exposed to the aggressions of the outside. How should you treat it? The priority of your care must be regeneration as well as stepping up hydration. A well hydrated skin is a good barrier of defence J
- Greasy: it is characterised by being shiny, enlarged pores, blackheads or acne. But, don’t worry! We also have a solution for this type of skin. In this case, your care should focus on regulating its production of grease, using astringent products and cleansers.
- Mixed: if when looking at your face you identify different skin types, it does not mean that you are not doing it properly... but that you have mixed skin! In general, the so-called T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) has more grease, but skin of the rest of the face, on the cheeks, is normal or dry. The solution is to treat the different areas according to their needs.
- Normal: if your skin does not shine, it does not flake off or is not dry, it is firm and even, and is also well moisturised, it means that you are in luck! You have normal skin. But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't take care of it to maintain its balance.
Now that you know what type of skin you have, you need to take care of it!
