Getting married in a week? Look out!

Getting married means you’ve found the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, that you’re happy and that you want to celebrate the great gift of love with friends and family. That’s why preparing for the big day is both beautiful and intense. The preparations, depending on the wedding and the happy couple, can start two years or two days before the event itself. Because each wedding is unique and special nowadays.

But one thing that all couples share, whatever their wedding, are nerves in the run-up to saying “I do”. And nerves make for poor choices. Here are a few examples.

  • The untimely pimple. Any other time, you would see it, take a deep breath and decide not to touch it. But with your wedding just a few days off, many brides and grooms can't resist temptation. If you want to take matters into your own hands we suggest a more professional approach: Acniover is the ideal treatment for people with oily skin or pimples.

  • Sun. The desire to look well-rested and with a healthy skin colour sometimes leads us to go overboard with the sun. But it's not a good idea to sunbathe. Even less so in a strappy top. You could end up with white lines or sunburn. Leave it up to your makeup artist to give you a healthy, natural glow. And protect yourself from the sun: Pigment Zero is the best choice if you want to prevent dark spots, protect your skin from the sun and remove blemishes.

  • Use overly aggressive face or body treatments. The quest for clean, hydrated and perfect skin can lead us to apply an overly aggressive peel-style treatment. Go for a more skin-friendly one. Our Face scrub from the Essentials range renews skin gently. And you can then apply one of our ampoules after. We have as many types of ampoules as there are skin types and needs. Choose yours.

The big day is finally here. The only tip we would give you now is this: be happy and enjoy yourself. Time flies and your wedding day in particular will zip by. Live it to the full. Remember everything about it. We wish you all the luck in the world.
