As you know, International Women's Day is celebrated on 8 March but is every day. We want to strengthen bonds, praise and raise the profile of our women and also give a voice to organisations that care for vulnerable women in the wider community. That’s why, at MartiDerm, we have created two actions, one via our Obra Social charity arm and the other through our women leaders who inspire us every day. #BreakTheBias #IWD2022.
WOMEN FOR THE SAME SKIN
We partner with and support the Spanish Multiple Sclerosis Foundation (FEM), the ARED Foundation, the Arsis Foundation, the SMC Mental Health Federation of Catalonia, ADMC Association of Moroccan Women in Catalonia and the Wad-Ras correctional facility with numerous projects. In fact, several of our solidarity jumble sales are dedicated entirely to these causes.
Today we were keen to give a voice to different women through the organisations that care for and support them in their daily lives. We want IWD to be an opportunity for them. Together we can promote a dignified life!
CREATING ROLE MODELS
We interviewed some of our role models in the company whose examples we use to promote reference points for women in leadership positions in science, research, technology, medicine, pharmacy...and anything else a woman sets out to do!
