Proteum 89+
What is it?
Proteum 89+ is the third-generation proteoglycan exclusive to MartiDerm. Thanks to its smaller size and greater penetration power than conventional proteoglycans, it encourages the production of endogenous proteoglycans such as Decorin (the proteoglycan most abundant in the skin, involved in the formation of collagen and the organisation and functioning of the skin’s connective tissue) and Versican (a proteoglycan present in the basal layer of the epidermis and associated with the elastic fibres of the dermis that aid water retention and the organisation of the extracellular matrix).
Proteum 89+ also helps counteract the effects of UV radiation on skin aging.
