Astaxanthin (oral)
What is it?
A ketocarotenoid from the Haematococcus pluvialis alga with antioxidant properties that help reduce free radicals.
What does it do for your skin?
The antioxidant action gives it a sun protection effect on the skin, with studies showing it to reduce the harmful effects of radiation. It also helps improve skin elasticity and barrier function.
