What is it?

Lycopene is a non-pro-vitamin A carotenoid that is responsible for the red-pink colour of some vegetables such as tomatoes. Lycopene is the carotenoid with the highest antioxidant power.

What does it do for your skin?

Because of its antioxidant properties, lycopene helps reduce the negative effects of the sun. It is also used as an antioxidant supplement to prevent and help improve other conditions.
