Ruscus aculeatus (Oral)
What is it?
Ruscus aculeatus L. is a sub-shrub used in traditional medicine in different parts of the world.
What does it do for your skin?
The uses and functions of this plant are divided into two groups depending on the part from which the active components are extracted. Thus, extracts from the aerial parts (leaves) are used as diuretics, while the underground parts (roots and rhizomes) are used to alleviate the symptoms of various disorders affecting venous insufficiency, oedema, the urinary system, premenstrual syndrome and haemorrhoids.
