Rutin
What is it?
Rutin is a flavonoid, a natural pigment that is naturally present in some vegetables such as asparagus and green peppers, apples, citrus fruit and tea (green and black). It is obtained from an evergreen plant called rue.
What does it do for your skin?
Rutin helps protect the body against oxidative damage and boosts the immune system. In addition, its properties mainly include its high function as a protective agent for the circulatory system, as it reduces weakening of the blood vessels.
