Tocopheryl retinoate (vitamins A and E)
What is it?
Tocopheryl retinoate is an ester composed of tocopherol (Vitamin E) and retinoic acid (Vitamin A).
What does it do for your skin?
It combines the synergistic action of its actives with an antioxidant and antiaging function. It also improves skin structure by promoting collagen and hyaluronic acid synthesis and reducing their degradation (induced by UVA exposure).
Its antioxidant function also reduces free radicals (ROS) and has a protective action against UVA radiation-induced damage.
