Vitamin C-Tech
What is it?
It is a synergistic combination of vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) and a stabilised derivative (ascorbyl glucoside) with very good skin tolerance. This combination enables a higher-concentration formulation without losing the properties of the vitamin C (antioxidant, brightener, skin tone evener and pro-collagen). Ascorbyl glucoside is transformed into its purest form in contact with the skin.
What does it do for your skin?
Like pure vitamin C, vitamin C-Tech acts on 3 main processes:
- Collagen synthesis: engages in the formation of collagen and stabilises its structure.
- Antioxidant: vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that can neutralise free radicals and oxidising agents such as those found in environmental pollutants or produced after exposure to ultraviolet radiation.
- Depigmenting and brightening effect: vitamin C and its derivatives reduce melanin synthesis since they have antioxidant properties that protect the epidermal cells from the effects of free radicals and therefore melanocyte stimulation.
